Scene 1: A Special Friend in the Forest
It is a bright sunny day. Pororo and Krong are on their way to Tongtong’s house.
Tongtong: Welcome, welcome! I am on my way to pick some special herbs. Do you want to come? There are many interesting herbs in the forest.
Pororo: What is that?
Tongtong: This is a very rare herb. Of course, you can pull one out too. Watch!
Pororo: Just hold still. This is a caterpillar that lives on trees. Well, here you go, Krong! It is a caterpillar.
Tongtong: Why not? As long as you have plenty of the leaves that it likes, it will be easy to raise.
Pororo and Krong returned home with their new caterpillar friend.
Pororo: Make sure your friend stays on the plate, Krong! I told you that it was hungry. Okay, I am going back to bed.
Scene 2: A New Home for Wriggles
The next day, their friends came to visit.
Poby: What is that?
Pororo: It is just a caterpillar. We found it in Tongtong’s forest. Krong begged me to bring it home.
Petty: You are going to raise it? It is going to get bigger, you know. It will need its own home soon.
Pororo: What? It is going to get bigger? What should we do? We do not have another house for Wriggles.
Eddy: Don't worry! I will make the most awesome house for you. It looks like it has been about a month since Wriggles came out of its egg. How interesting! I am going to start making the house, so come get it later.
Pororo: Thanks a whole bunch, Eddy!
Scene 3: Wriggles is Changing
Pororo and Krong had fun playing with Wriggles.
Pororo: Wriggles is great at climbing! Let’s try one more. I am glad we brought Wriggles home too. Oh, Wriggles must be hungry. We don't have any more leaves, Krong. Okay, then let’s go to Tongtong’s forest!
They went back to the forest and worked hard picking Wriggles' favorite leaves. But when they came back, something was different.
Pororo: We looked everywhere, but we couldn't find Wriggles! He was here before we left. Well, this must be Wriggles... but why is Wriggles hard like a rock? I bet Eddy will know what’s going on. Let’s hurry, Krong!
Scene 4: The Sleeping Caterpillar
They ran to Eddy's house.
Eddy: Wriggles' house is finished!
Pororo: Ah, Wriggles has changed a bit, huh?
Eddy: Yes, that’s right. Wriggles is hiding inside a hard shell and won't come out. I knew that would happen!
Pororo: Wait, hold on! Is little Wriggles all right?
Eddy: Yeah, Wriggles is simply in its pupa stage right now. In order for a caterpillar to grow, it needs to sleep inside a cocoon. So, Wriggles is just sleeping.
Pororo: We have to be quiet. I am glad he is okay.
Eddy: He has to make it out on his own. Don't worry, Wriggles will be a-okay! You can do it!
Scene 5: Goodbye, Butterfly!
Finally, Wriggles came out of the shell. He was not a caterpillar anymore. He was a beautiful butterfly!
Petty: So pretty! Little Wriggles must be cold. Butterflies need to live in warm places. This forest is way too cold for Wriggles.
Pororo and his friends brought Wriggles back to Tongtong’s forest.
Pororo: Lots of flowers and a nice warm breeze. This seems like a good spot. Let’s all count one, two, three out loud together! Okay, ready? One, two, three!
Tongtong: Don't be so sad. You can always say goodbye to Wriggles. If you ever see Wriggles in the forest, make sure to say hello!
